Popular golf equipment brand Titleist filed NFT and Metaverse-related trademark applications at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on March 14th, 2023.
According to the filing, Titleist plans to debut downloadable virtual goods featuring golf balls, golf clubs, golf bags, golf head covers, apparel, headwear, golf equipment, etc., to use in the metaverse.
Titleist also aims to launch entertainment services featuring golf balls, golf clubs, golf bags, golf head covers, etc. The downloadable virtual goods featuring these golf equipments will be authenticated by NFTs for use in virtual environments.
