The XR Metaverse Market Map for 2023

Currently, the metaverse space is expected to reach a value of approximately $426.9 billion by 2027 

Today, we’re looking at just some of the metaverse innovators that are beginning to introduce the world to the potential of these new digital landscapes.  

Meta 

One of the better-known names in the Metaverse landscape today, Meta (previously Facebook), is a technology company investing in the creation of immersive virtual spaces. Meta believes the metaverse is the future of digital connectivity, where individuals will be able to socialize, collaborate, learn, and play. Currently, the company is investing in a variety of tools to unlock the metaverse. 

The Meta team is exploring augmented reality solutions designed to work with smartphones and smart glasses, as well as virtual reality environments compatible with a range of Oculus headsets. Meta also has its own partner program for developers, as well as a research facility focused on finding new innovations for industrial, commercial, and consumer metaverse creation.  

MetaVRse

Best-known for its range of wearable devices, Varjo also produces platform solutions for companies investing in the metaverse landscape.
