Nissan Launch Heritage Cars & Safe Drive Studio in Metaverse

Nissan Motor Co. has introduced the Heritage Cars & Safe Drive Studio, a metaverse platform that combines the allure of iconic automobiles with interactive safety education. On March 7, Nissan’s 90th anniversary launch was celebrated, and virtual reality was leveraged to engage users in a unique blend of history and safety awareness.

The studio features three of Nissan’s most celebrated models, each within a virtual environment reflective of its era. The exhibits include Silvia Q’s S13, the Skyline 2000 GTX-E, and a setting similar to a 1950s American diner, offering users a mix of educational content.

Available on the Meta Quest headset, these experiences build on Nissan’s previous virtual initiatives, such as the virtual test drive launched in 2022, to attract and educate a broader audience about traffic safety and automotive heritage.

The Heritage Cars & Safe Drive Studio is part of Nissan’s ongoing effort to integrate traffic safety education with the latest digital trends. By offering an engaging platform that combines learning with entertainment, Nissan aims to foster a deeper understanding of traffic safety among users worldwide, continuing its legacy of innovation and public engagement.
