ChainCatcher news, according to BitcoinNews, the statue of Satoshi Nakamoto located in Lugano, Switzerland was stolen today.

On October 25, 2024, a statue commemorating the anonymous creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, was unveiled in Ciani Park (Villa Ciani) in Lugano, Switzerland. The event was hosted by Tether in collaboration with the Plan B initiative of the city of Lugano.

The statue was designed by Italian artist Valentina Picozzi, taking 18 months of research and 3 months of construction to complete.
