Warning lights flash on the Senate’s next crypto push

Republicans on the Senate Banking Committee are preparing to release another discussion draft of crypto market structure overhauls as soon as Friday, this time with input from industry and K Street, according to multiple people involved in the process.

“It would be a disaster if the majority were to rush the process,” Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) said in a Thursday interview. “Market structure is exponentially more difficult than stablecoins.”
