Victor6G aims to catalyse 6G-era virtualisation for industrial metaverse
An Ericsson-led 6G project backed by German state funding hopes to mature real-time network virtualisation with tightly integrated IT functionality, targeting 6G-powered industrial metaverse applications. The three-year Victor6G project started its activities in January 2026. The programme has a EUR 5.4 million budget, including EUR 4.3 million from Germany’s Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space.
