VRChat] Metaverse event “Charaket” featuring over 100 characters to be held for free on May 2nd.

The Charaket Executive Committee and HIKKY Co., Ltd. will be holding “Charaket,” a virtual event specializing in 3D character avatars. The event will run for a total of nine days, from Saturday, May 2nd to Sunday, May 10th, 2026. It will be held in a special world within VRChat, and admission is free.

“Charaket” is a user-participation event based on the concept of “Meet and play with characters! A fun festival!” The Charaket Executive Committee, comprised of volunteers gathered at the call of the Vket founding members, is the main organizer and operator, with support from HIKKY.

At the exhibition booths within the venue, you can encounter over 100 character avatars. Each booth displays the character’s name and a poster, and you can even try on (clone) the 3D avatars displayed in the center. Please note that the try-on function is only available at some booths.

The special world also features a variety of attractions. These include a Ferris wheel where you can ride alongside characters, a stamp rally where you can win exclusive 3D models, and interactive scenarios. Official events will be held every day during the nine-day event period, and collaborative projects with seven popular VRChat communities will also be implemented.

On the final day, May 10th (Sunday), a mobile VR experience event will also be held at the real-world event venue in Hinagu, Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture. This event is designed to allow participants to enjoy the event in both virtual and real-world settings.

Participation requires the PC version of VRChat. Participation from standalone VR headsets or mobile devices is not supported.
