Bitcoin ETFs saw $64M outflow as altcoin ETFs for ether, XRP, Solana gained funds on Monday.

On Monday, US spot bitcoin ETFs experienced a net outflow of $64 million, primarily due to Grayscale’s GBTC losing $124 million. Meanwhile, spot ETFs for altcoins like ether, XRP, Solana, and Hyperliquid attracted fresh investments, with ether funds gaining $22.5 million and Hyperliquid $17.2 million. Despite the outflow, BlackRock’s IBIT bitcoin fund actually saw inflows of $66 million, indicating the outflow was not broad-based. The key question is whether this rotation into altcoin ETFs will continue or if Monday’s activity was just a temporary shift.
