Attend Solana Beach Civic and Historical Society event for an update on city initiatives – San Diego Union-Tribune

All are invited to join the Solana Beach Civic & Historical Society for an update on the city of Solana Beach’s many initiatives.

The event will be held on Thursday, May 21, 5 p.m., at  Fletcher Cove Community Center, 133 Pacific Ave., Solana Beach

City Manager Alyssa Muto will provide updates on the city’s many recent projects and ongoing initiatives, including plans to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the city’s incorporation, according to a news release. Other topics to be updated at the event include:

•Recent Fletcher Cove improvements

•Planning for the new Marine Safety Center


•The Older Adult Transportation Program to be launched this summer

•La Colonia Park improvements

•Planning for the Lomas Santa Fe corridor

•Planning for a park at Larrick Reservoir

•Planning for a Santa Helena Neighborhood Trail

Muto joined the city staff in 2024 year, after serving as director of the Sustainability & Mobility Department for the city of San Diego. She grew up in Solana Beach and attended Torrey Pines High School. Admission free.
